“It takes a village to raise a child,” is an African proverb ringing with truth.
The Massachusetts Credit Union Candy Drive features premium candy bars from Granite State Candy Shoppe located in Concord, New Hampshire to benefit A Bed for Every Child, an initiative of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
A Bed for Every Child needs your help to continue giving twin beds to children growing up in poverty until every child is safely tucked into bed at night. That’s why the Massachusetts Credit Unions are raising funds for the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.
Candy bars can be purchased in the Credit Union lobby for $2.00 each and are available in a variety of flavors including milk chocolate, dark chocolate, peanut butter, almond, crisped rice and caramel.
A portion of the proceeds, from every candy bar sold, will be donated to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless on behalf of the Massachusetts Credit Unions.
This Candy Drive is a great way we can raise funds for the homeless while displaying the credit union philosophy of people helping people.
