Requirements
- Applicant must be a member of the SFCU or a dependent of an SFCU Member.
- Applicants must be a graduating high school senior.
- Applicants must complete the current Scholarship Application form and submit it with all the other required materials to any SFCU branch by May 2, 2025.
Application Submission
- Completed current Scholarship Application.
- A type-written essay that is no more than two, double-spaced pages with a maximum of 500 words. Essay should be focused on the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and how your commitment to educational and career goals will make a difference in your community and chosen field.
- Proof of acceptance into a college or university undergraduate program.
- List of extra-curricular or volunteer/community service activities.
Decision Process & Timeline
- Scholarship Committee will review applications and select recipients, following the application deadline date.
- Recipients will be notified in May/June 2025.
