Requirements
- Applicant must be a member of the SFCU or a dependent of an SFCU member.
- Applicants must be a graduating high school senior.
- Applicants must complete the current Scholarship Application form and submit it, along with all required materials, to any SFCU branch or by mail, postmarked no later than April 30, 2026.
Application Submission
The completed application must include:
- The current Scholarship Application form.
- A type-written essay (maxium two double-spaced pages, 500 words) focused on the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and how your educational and career goals will make a difference in your community and chosen field.
- Proof of acceptance into a college or university undergraduate program.
- List of extra-curricular or volunteer/community service activities.
Decision Process & Timeline
- Scholarship Committee will review applications and select recipients following the application deadline date.
- Recipients are expected to be notified on or around June 1, 2026.
