Somerset Federal Credit Union has selected this year’s recipients of our two $1,000 scholarships awarded annually to high school seniors headed to college, who share the same philosophy of the Credit Union, ‘people helping people’.
Sophia Puccini was the winner of the Oliver C. Perry, Jr. Scholarship honoring our past President, Oliver C. Perry, Jr. and Megan Soares won the employee-sponsored ReachOut! Scholarship.
Sophia is a 2022 graduate of Somerset Berkley Regional High School. She will be attending Fordham University in the fall, majoring in Global Businesses (Marketing) with a minor in International Relations.
Megan is also a 2022 graduate of Somerset Berkley Regional High School. In the fall, she will be attending Bay Path University, pursuing a degree in Occupational Therapy.
Both Sophia and Megan have been recognized for their leadership and service to others both at school and in our community.
